What review widgets actually do

Your Google reviews, filtered by rating and by location

A widget shows the Google reviews already imported into Reputacion, from newest to oldest. You choose the location concerned or your entire organization, the minimum rating, from one to five stars, and the number of reviews, up to twenty. Each review shows the rating, the text and the author, and, if you wish, their photo, the date and the source. You can also limit text length, from ten to a hundred words, to keep the cards even. A location deleted from your account automatically disappears from your widgets, without you having to change your website.

Seven layouts for different placements

The seven styles serve distinct purposes. The carousel and the swipeable cards scroll reviews through a banner. The single card highlights one review in a narrow column. The masonry grid, wall-of-love style, suits a page dedicated to testimonials. The marquee animates a horizontal strip, for example above the footer. The tilted cards and animated cards add movement to a homepage. The preview shows the result with your own reviews before you copy the code.

In your website's colors

The design settings cover the background of the cards and container, the color of the text, stars and accents, the color and radius of the borders, the shadow and the text size. The generated code includes all these choices: you do not write a single line of CSS. To change a color later, you update the setting in the dashboard and replace the code on your website. You can create as many widgets as you have placements, for example a carousel on the homepage and a grid on each location's page.

Lightweight code, no maintenance

The code consists of an empty placeholder and a script that loads without blocking your page from displaying, whatever tool was used to build your website. Reviews are served by Reputacion and cached for five minutes: a new review appears in the widget after it syncs from Google, without touching the code. Animation libraries are loaded from our servers, and only for the styles that need them. For your developers, the window.ReputacionWidget object and the ReputacionWidgetReady event let you create a widget at the right moment, for example in a single-page application.
